The reveal takes place at 9:30 p.m. EDT, May 19, from Ford World Headquarters and will be broadcast live with 30+ ways to watch across physical and digital destinations, including the Ford Facebook and YouTube channels, Twitter, key national publications as well as 18 impactful out-of-home locations such as Times Square in New York City and Las Vegas Boulevard.

There will be 36 teams of 4 golfers to be played on two courses with an awards luncheon cooked on-site by Texas de Brazil. Raffle items, silent auction items, and networking with local Garland companies, Garland Chamber, and City of Garland officials coming together to support the local nonprofit the Good Samaritans of Garland providing food assistance to those in need in the Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse communities. There will be community speakers at the event from Good Samaritans on how to get more involved with the nonprofit as well as with the City on Garland companies coming together.

Attention seniors in the Garland area… the $2,000 FordDrivingDreams.com scholarship application process officially opens today. The deadline to apply is April 6th. There will be a virtual ceremony for the 250 North Texas Scholarship winners in June 2021.
Randall Reed’s Planet Ford 635 and Ford Motor Company Fund are coming together to award $2,000 scholarships to two students at Garland High School, two students at North Garland High School, and one student at South Garland High School for $10,000 in scholarship funds on what drives their dreams.
To Apply a Student Must: – Be a High School Senior – Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better – Be planning to pursue full-time studies leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited US college or university – Attend Garland HS, South Garland HS or North Garland HS – Write an essay to share your academic and career goals while also reinforcing the importance of education and giving back to the #Garland#community.
Ford Driving Dreams and North Texas Ford Dealers have teamed up to deliver the 2021 Ford Driving Dreams program for our communities, students and families. For the fourth year in a row, they are awarding $500,000 in scholarships to 250 North Texas graduating high school seniors.
If you are a Garland resident without power or know someone in need, Garland Warming Centers are set up at Gale Fields Recreational Center on 1701 Dairy Road and at Holford Recreational Center at 2314 Homestead Place.
Randall Reed’s Planet Ford 635 was honored to donate 50 blankets between both locations to do our small part to help our Garland community neighbors stay warm. Good Samaritans of Garland have been preparing spaghetti and other meals to help keep those displaced or in need fed.
