Randall Reed’s Planet Ford 635 in Garland, TX (serving greater Dallas, Rockwall, Rowlett, Mesquite, Richardson, Plano) was honored to support the Garland Foodies Benefit Dinner benefiting the Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation with a VIP Table.
The Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation was initially formed to assist Garland Police Officer Lt. Carker who is undergoing cancer treatment. The Foundation continues to grow by supporting the police family. It has most recently assisted Lt. Carker, who has been battling Mantle Cell Lymphoma and neighborhood police officer Tommy Barnes, who has been battling Carcinoma and Adenocarcinoma.
Each requires consultation and treatment at M.D, Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. The Foundation is raising funds for both Officers and their families to cover extensive expenses during their battles against cancer.
The event consisted of the Foundation, the Garland Police Officers, and the community in rallying together to show our support. Local small businesses such as Piefalootin, HTeaO, 5th Avenue Nutrition, Tavern on the Square and Dickey’s Barbeque Pit (1413 W. Buckingham Road in Garland) all came together to support the community.
This will be an annual event to continue to support our Garland Police Officers in need and show support of our city and first responders. Planet Ford 635 thanks our officers and all who support them for all they do!
