End of Summer DFW Family Activities
The end of summer is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time for the kiddos to go back to school. Before you begin the tradition of back-to-school shopping, there’s still a little more fun to be had!

Place: Hawaiian Falls Garland
The Know: Hawaiian Falls in a branch of water park chains with slides, rides, lazy river & a 16,000-sq.-ft. wave pool. Pack a picnic, spend the day and finish it off with a Hawaiian shaved ice! It’s fun for the whole family and a great way to keep cool during these hot summer days. And if you’re on the opposite side of DFW, check out the Hawaiian Falls in The Colony.

Place: Lake Park
The Know: Lake Park is a massive park at more than 660 acres. The recreational park offers a beach, lake swimming, boating, athletic fields & picnic areas, campgrounds, golf and disc golf courses. Take the family to the beach and just have fun relaxing all Saturday without ever having to leave the DFW area!
Pilot Point, Texas
Place: Ray Roberts Lake State Park
The Know: Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get out to Ray Roberts Lake State Park for the day or the weekend. There’s camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, boating and lots more. Just a quick trip up 35!

Place: Amazing Jake’s
The Know: Amazing Jake’s is 95,000 sq ft air conditioned fun. They are an all-indoor facility featuring go-karts, laser tag, miniature golf, climbing wall, bumper cars, video games and an XD theater. It also has a huge buffet with pizzas, pastas and unlimited beverages and desserts. There is plenty to do for everyone without breaking the bank. And don’t forget the AC!
