Ready to take a spin for a good cause. Join Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford in Garland for the upcoming Drive One 4 UR Community Event taking place Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. m.
The FUNdraising event is free to you but bring $20 per test drive to benefit the North Garland Area Habitat for Humanity at the Restore, which is located at 2360 Crist Road in Garland, TX.
For every valid test drive completed, Ford will donate $20 to the Garland Area Habitat for Humanity up to 300 test drives. That means the charity could received up to a $6,000 donation to help to build homes for families in need.
The Garland Area Habitat for Humanity (GAHFH) was founded in 1993. It is part of a global, non-profit housing organization, Habitat for Humanity International. Operating on Christian principles, GAHFH shares the mission of Habitat International, seeking to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope.
GAHFH is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in Garland, Rowlett, Sachse, and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
