Mark your calendars! August 4th, from noon to 4 p.m., you can roll up your sleeves and help your community. The Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford dealership family will be donating blood to Carter BloodCare. The Ford dealer in Garland, Texas (serving Dallas, Mesquite, Rockwall, Richardson) invites customers and community members to sign up to donate too.
The Carter BloodCare donation bus will be at Prestige Ford, located at 3601 S. Shiloh Road, off Garland Road and 635.
Carter BloodCare’s primary purpose is to provide life-saving resources to local hospitals in our regional communities. The organization is one of the AABB-accredited blood centers in the state, their laboratory is certified by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), and they are licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additionally, Carter BloodCare is affiliated with America’s Blood Centers – a group of community blood centers providing half of the blood that is transfused in the United States.
