Recently, Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford in Garland, Texas (serving Dallas, Rockwall, Mesquite, Richardson, Plano) hosted the first quarterly Women On Wheels event. The evening was entertaining and educational steering women on how to learn more about and automotive sales and service knowledge.
Special speakers included Shelby Reed, the COO of World Class Automotive Group and Suzanne Baker, the General Sales Manager at Prestige Ford. The two shared their insights from a women perspective in the automotive industry and how they have and are continuing to to bring exceptional customer service and knowledge to an every changing and growing industry.
During the event, the first Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford “Woman of Garland” Award was given to Kay Moore by Ms Reed. Mrs. Moore is a well-known member of the community, Pulitzer Prize nominee, veteran newspaper journalist, author of eight books, co-author of more than a dozen titles and ghost author of more than 100 others. Mrs. Moore and her husband, Louis Moore (aka as Coach at Prestige and in the community) are long-time loyal customers of Prestige Ford. They have purchased several vehicles and continue to service all vehicles, from Mustangs to SUVs. During Garland’s Heritage Day, Mr. and Mrs. Moore displayed Prestige Ford’s 1913 Ford Depot Hack from the locations showroom in the couples’ driveway on Historic 11th Street. The 1913 aspect of the tour included the neighborhood, home and the vintage Ford.
