Prestige Ford feature on home tour Screen-Shot-2016-04-25-at-1.22.31-PM-768x329If you’ve visited Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford in Garland, TX (serving Dallas, Rockwall, Mesquite, Richardson) you’ve noticed the antique Ford from 1913.  No matter the age, everyone is drawn to it.

Saturday April 23rd even more people had the opportunity to see the 1913 Ford Depot Hack. For the first time in a very long time, the cool car was taken outdoors and into the sun. It sat in the sun in the driveway of Louis and Kay Moore as part of the Historic Home Tour of Garland’s Heritage Day.

The home on South 11th Street was built in the same year 1913 as the classic Ford, as were  two other homes on the tour and is part of the Travis College Hill Addition that was established in 1913.  Louis and Kay Moore, long time customers of Prestige Ford in Garland, were eager to have the 1913 Ford Depot Hack on display during the tour. It was a hit and added a special touch to the 1913 aspect of the tour.

Prestige Ford enjoyed being part of the the special day honoring 125 years of Garland Heritage and the 100th Anniversary of the Bankhead Highway.
