Prestige Ford employees and customers donate food for Good Samaritans of Garland as part of Garland Gives Day on April 30th
Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford believes it is key to give back to the great Garland community that we are so proud to be part of. April 30th is Garland Gives Day. It will be hosted by Leadership Garland Class XXXV.
Prestige Garland is pitching in to lend a helping hand to provide and build more sturdy shelving for the Good Samaritans of Garland. the shelving needs to be reinforced so that it can hold more weight and efficiently utilize the space for canned goods. The picnic table areas outside of Good Samaritans are being cleaned up, as well.
During April, Prestige Ford in Garland (serving the greater Dallas – Fort Worth area) has been collecting canned goods from our wonderful dealership employees and customers as part of our “Fill A Ford – Canned Food Drive.” All of the donations and canned goods are being used to fill a new 2016 Ford F-150. The Ford truck will haul all of the much-needed donations to the Good Samaritans of Garland on at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30th. We are collecting canned goods and donations through this Friday April 29th.
Garland Gives is a city-wide community service project that was founded by Leadership Garland Class XXXII in 2012. Since that time, it has become an annual tradition. Class members select tasks suggested by local non-profit organizations and spend a Saturday working on a project. Projects and tasks range from simple maintenance chores to collecting donations.
