Prestige Goes Red for Women & Awareness

Red Prestige feb 2016 IMG_1976Did you know?  One in three women die of heart disease and stroke? For many, it can actually be prevented. Much of that lies in learning about how to prevent heart disease and know the signs and risks, as well.

The American Heart Association is raising awareness by designating February 6th to be “Go Red for Women” day. It is a call to action to stand united in the fight on heart disease. It’s a call for women to become success story. A story of survival. The American Heart Association states: “To show us your battle scars and to be proud of the warrior you’ve become.” When we all work together, we have the power to save lives — and that life could be our won.

In a show of support and awareness, the Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford team dressed out in their favorite red garb. “It’s important that we take time to pause to think about the serious nature of this information and what we can do to help remind others so we can all get more educated and stay healthy,” said Justin Wright, GM/OP of Prestige Ford in Garland (serving Dallas, Rockwall, Mesquite, Richardson, Plano and surrounding cities).

Each year, Prestige Ford in Garland gathers together for a family photo to show their grand support and to encourage all the women in their lives — themselves included — to stop, learn and take care of themselves and their heart.
