Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford is proud to be part of Garland Fire Fighters Association “Coats for Kids” program for the third year in a row. Katie Koberg, Community Relations Director and Michelle Mendez from Prestige were proud to lend a helping hand. Volunteers from the community came together to provide over 100 coats to the children at Northlake Elementary School.
This week, firefighters, Prestige Ford (serving greater Dallas, Mesquite, Rockwall, Richardson) staff and other volunteers, such as MrRestore, handed out jackets to school children in need. “To see the excitement in the children eyes as they select their new coats is truly heart warming,” Ms. Koberg said.
“The kids in our community should never go cold,” said Randall Reed, Owner of Prestige Ford. “These precious children deserve to feel safe and warm.” Justin Wright, OP/GM agrees, “We are so happy to be part of this annual event. We’re pleased to be able to lend our support to the Garland Fire Fighters Association as they help these wonderful kids at Northlake Elementary.”
Gift That Keeps Giving
Prestige will be part of a follow-up event with this program with the Garland Fire Fighters Association. In December, they will help take approximately 100 kids from the Garland area to Walmart to go Christmas shopping. This is the third year that the Prestige community team will be participating. “It is very special event,” said Ms. Koberg. “There is so much joy and appreciation from the children and their families; it is what the season and our community work is all about.”
