One in three women die of heart disease and stroke, but for many, it can be prevented. Much of that lies in learning about how to prevent heart disease and know the signs and risks, as well.
Today the American Heart Association is raising awareness by designating February 6th to be “Go Red for Women” day. It is a call to action to stand united in the fight on heart disease. It’s a call for women to become success story. A story of survival. The American Heart Association states: “To show us your battle scars and to be proud of the warrior you’ve become.” When we all work together, we have the power to save lives — and that life could be our won.
