Recently, Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford went back to school at North Garland High School! Staff from our award-winning, Dallas-area dealership took one of our electric cars to the engineering and sustainability class. This class is part of the Math, Science and Technology Program designed to prepare high achieving students for advancement in the world of technology. The students are tasked with researching and designing their own electric car.
During our visit, students asked lots questions of the product specialists and the vehicle owners. The owner of our Focus Electric was Dominik Hartel. He was there with Garett Polanco, a Prestige Public Relations Specialist and Aaron Fuller, a Prestige Internet Associate who discussed the features and benefits.
Our Prestige Ford team is excited to see what the students come up with. They are working diligently to create the next electric car, factoring in aero dynamics, battery power and design. They will be using grids and virtual software to make their masterpiece. Once complete, they will be able to print out a 3-D model using the schools 3-D printer. Prestige Ford is proud to be part of how they will shape their design, power and eventually race these cars.
Stay tuned to upcoming blogs to see how these North Garland High School students are coming along with the project. If you want your own electric vehicle (EV), log on to www.PrestigeGarland.com to shop all of our fuel-efficient new Fords!
