The Ford F-150 Tremor, which will be released in the fourth quarter of 2014, is Ford’s first EcoBoost-powered sport truck that offers V8 performance with V6 fuel economy. The estimated fuel economy for the Tremor is said to be same as the 2013 Ford F-150, which is 16 MPG city and 22 MPG highway.
This sport truck can tow a lot! The Tremor can tow up to 8,000 pounds in the 4X2 model so if you need to tow something heavy you can. The F-150 Tremor will come with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo engine that yields 365 horsepower and 420 foot-pounds of torque. This performance truck is fast clocking 0-60 in under 6.5 seconds. Ford Motor Company has not yet released the pricing for this remarkable performance truck but several reviewers believe it will be around $38,000. The Ford Tremor made it’s debut at the NASCAR Trucks Series at Michigan International Speedway as a pace truck.
