Ford Driving Skills For Life Safe Teen Driving Program

ford_driving_skills_for_lifeRandall Reed’s Prestige Ford in Garland (serving the Rockwall, Mesquite, Rowlett and Dallas areas) wants to inform all parents with teenagers able to drive about the Ford Driving Skills For Life program. It is a free program for teens who have a driver’s license or learner’s permit. Ford Driving Skills will be at Fair Park in Dallas this weekend, April 6th & 7th. There are two sessions per day, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The program was developed in 2003 in conjunction with the Governors Highway Safety Association and a panel of safety experts to address the No. 1 killer of teenagers in the United States – vehicle crashes.

Teens will drive specially equipped vehicles on road courses under the supervision of professional instructors, improving their skills in four key areas: hazard recognition,
vehicle handling, space management and speed management.

Registration is limited and signed consent forms are required. For more information and registration visit drivingskillsforlife.com. Please bring the signed waiver form and your teen’s driver’s license or permit with you to the event.

When you’re ready to buy your teen a new or pre-owned vehicle, take the short drive down 635 to Prestige Ford off Garland Road at 3601 S. Shiloh in Garland.
