In 1901 Henry Ford built the 999 racer. Since then, Ford engineers have been finding ways to get more power out of less engine. Fast forward to today, the process hits a new high mark with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine debuting in the newly designed 2014 Fiesta soon to be available at Randall Reed’s Prestige Ford in Garland (serving Rockwall, Rowlett, Richardson, Grapevine and the greater Dallas / Fort Worth area).
It may be economic in sized but its engine generates 123 horsepower per liter and is expected to achieve more than 40 mpg. Check out the history of the Ford engine… impressive.
